Your uploaded documents are the most sensitive data we handle. We have built multiple layers of protection around them:

  256-bit SSL/TLS Encryption in Transit: All file uploads and downloads use HTTPS with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Your data is fully encrypted between your device and our servers at all times.

  Automatic 60-Minute Deletion: All uploaded files and processed output files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 60 minutes. This is enforced at the server level by a scheduled cleanup job — not merely a policy statement.

  Isolated Storage with Random Filenames: Each uploaded file is stored in an isolated server directory with a randomized, unguessable filename. No two users can access each other's files.

  We Never Read Your Files: Our systems process your files programmatically (for conversion, protection, etc.) but no human employee, contractor, or administrator reads, opens, or views the content of your uploaded documents — ever.

  No Backups of Uploaded Files: We do not create backup copies of your uploaded or processed files. Once the 60-minute window passes, deletion is permanent and irreversible, even for our administrators.

  PDF Passwords Are Never Stored: When you use our Protect PDF feature, the password you enter is used only during the encryption process and immediately discarded from memory. It is never written to disk, never logged, and never accessible to anyone — including us.
